People ask, "how's Maddox?" And I often respond, "slow and steady... Not headed backwards" because that's about as truthful as I can be.
So, let's do a standard monthly checkin, nothing medical!
At 8 months, my dear boy, you:
- have 4 teeth!!! They started around month 6 and finished completely about 3 weeks ago. Two on bottom and two whoppers on top.
- are wearing size 3 diapers
- weigh a little over 16lbs
- are wearing size 6mos and 6-9mos clothes
- are attempting the exer-bouncer thing (with LOTS of support!!!)
- prefer to look to the right, laying on your belly across our laps, or flat on your back
- eat every four hours, 6oz. Sadly we are completely done with breastmilk. I tried kid, but stress, exhaustion, and the pump finally got to me. (Honestly I ditched the pump a long time ago but still had some stocked up)
- are NOT sleeping through the night, but you only wake up once and I've decided this week we are gonna do some major sleep training
- are so spoiled to your momma and you are starting to look more intently at Hudson.
